Energy Crisis?

TreeHugger.com put up this interesting map showing the exact area of the earth which would need to be covered with solar-cells in order to power all human energy needs. Yes, those little black spots are it. The map is conservative in its estimate as it uses an 8% efficiency rating on the solar cells, while cutting edge technology has that rating up near 20%.

Hi Deb,
I say ~ Let's do it! Who wouldn't sacrifice Delaware for complete energy independence?
